Investing in the next generation through scholarships and transformative experiences.
Scholarships.
More Than Financial Support
Our scholarships aren't just about providing financial assistance for a good career. For us, scholarship is a momentum - a starting point for a relationship.
We believe that people, not programs, change lives. That's why we stay in close contact with every student we support. We meet at least twice a year. We encourage them to remember the source of their blessings, and to pass that generosity forward in their own communities.
Our ultimate goal is to help students grow not only in knowledge but in character - to become faithful, generous servants in whatever field they pursue.
Countries We Serve.
We support students pursuing higher education in the following countries. Each student receives not only financial support but also mentorship, encouragement, and connection to a community that believes in their potential.
United States
Mexico
Nicaragua
Korea
China
How to Apply.
Do you know a student in need of scholarship support?
We invite students from under-resourced backgrounds to apply for educational scholarships. Our selection process prioritizes relationship, character, and commitment to serving others.
YES Program
Youth Exchange Summer Program: An Experience of Love, Generosity & Purpose.
The YES program was created to give young people - especially those from under-resourced or disadvantaged backgrounds - an experience of love, generosity, and purpose they might never otherwise have.
-
Since 2007, Primax has invited small groups of students from South Korea to join us in the United States for a three-week summer program. Many of these students come from single-parent homes or orphanages - young people who would never receive an invitation to the United States otherwise.
Students stay with host families, travel across the western US, and engage in service - visiting migrant farm workers in Mexico, serving the homeless in Los Angeles, and building relationships with local churches and communities along the way.
They explore national parks, participate in deep discussions, and share unforgettable meals with volunteers. They learn not just about the world, but about who they're becoming in it.
One volunteer called it "a program built on joy, generosity, and gospel roots."
-
The program is offered at no cost to students. As one verse we love reminds us: "Freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8).
We provide:
Round-trip airfare and all travel expenses
Meals and accommodations with host families
Pocket money for personal needs
All program materials and keepsakes
Every student receives a thick binder at the end of the program with speaker notes, photos, and memories from their three weeks with us.
-
Many alumni - now in their 20s and 30s, some married, some serving in their own communities - are still in close contact with the friends and volunteers they met through YES.
These are the stories that remind us why we do this work.
-
The YES program has served students every summer since 2007. Each year involves 40+ volunteers preparing for 6-8 students.
Some volunteers take their vacation time just to serve these young people for three weeks.
Capullo De Flora
Helping teenage girls in Mexico discover their value and choose healthier paths.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, adolescent pregnancy remains a persistent issue, especially in low-income communities. Early childbirth often leads to long-term poverty, disrupted education, and increased vulnerability to abuse and neglect.
Capullo de Flora ("Flower Bud") is a small group initiative based in Rosarito, Mexico, designed to help teenage girls reflect, dream, and explore healthier paths forward. The program is rooted in honest conversation, trust, and hope - encouraging participants to see their value, discover their voice, and make life-affirming choices.
Primax plans to expand this program in the coming years as we learn what works and build deeper relationships with local churches in Mexico.
